At The Redefined Home, we provide relocation and home transition services with professionalism, discretion, and thoughtful attention to detail. As a trusted partner, we support clients through each phase of the move, from planning and rightsizing to decluttering, packing, and resettling. We work closely with clients to ensure the experience feels organized and manageable.

This includes guiding clients through decisions about what to keep, sell, or donate, as well as assisting in identifying and coordinating with moving companies and other service providers aligned with your needs. Support may also extend to unpacking and thoughtfully organizing spaces, allowing the home to feel settled and functional.

We also work with adult children supporting their aging parents, recognizing that the process of transitioning a lifetime of belongings can feel both overwhelming and time-consuming. In these situations, we provide a steady, respectful presence, helping to ease the burden while ensuring the process is handled with care and sensitivity.

Each move is unique, and the level of involvement is always tailored to the client’s preferences and needs.

Meet the Team

Moving is more than a logistical process—it is often deeply personal.

After guiding my own aging parents through a significant transition, I came to understand firsthand the emotional weight that can accompany a move. From sorting through meaningful belongings to navigating change, each step requires patience, sensitivity, and respect.

This perspective informs every client experience. My role is not only to manage the details, but to create a sense of clarity, calm, and confidence throughout the process.

With more than 30 years of professional experience in education, I bring exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex, multi-layered projects with ease. My background includes managing communications, planning events, and working with discretion in sensitive situations. Today, these skills translate seamlessly into overseeing relocations with structure, efficiency, and care.

After our youngest child graduated from college, my husband and I left Maryland in search of a slower pace and warmer weather. We explored Florida's coastline looking for a community that felt like "old Florida"—charming, welcoming, and authentic. We found exactly that in Vero Beach and have loved calling it home ever since.

Services

Services range from collaborative support to full-service relocation management. I may work alongside you as you thoughtfully decide what to keep, sell, or donate, or I can oversee the entire process, from planning and coordinating to packing, resettling, and fully organizing your home down to the smallest details.

Investment begins at an hourly rate of $50, reflecting a thoughtful, personalized approach tailored to each client’s needs (bookings must be a minimum of 2 hours).

  • In-home organizing and Relocation Support: Hands-on-assistance throughout the moving process

  • Sorting & Decision Support: Guidance in determining what to keep, donate, sell, or discard

  • Packing, Unpacking & Resettling Support: Assistance with organizing and coordinating packing, as well as unpacking and thoughtfully setting up the home to feel functional, comfortable, and well-organized

  • Donation or Sale Coordination: Assistance in arranging for charitable donations or identifying avenues for the sale or consignment of items

  • Removal & Disposal: Coordination to ensure unwanted items are removed safely and responsibly

  • Product sourcing: Selection and procurement of materials needed for packing, organizing, and protecting belongings, particularly fragile or high-value items

  • Space Planning & Home Setup: Guidance with furniture placement, art arrangement, and the organization of spaces

  • Peace of Mind: Providing a calm, steady presence throughout the process, helping to ease both the emotional and logistical demands of a transition
